I am trying to get a shopping cart or two running on my server: www.craigtarwater.com. I had a CGI cart, but I was informed it was a "pirate", so I took it down. I have my choice now of Cubecart, or QuickCart, both PHP carts. I have the GD library and MySQL 4.* I have the directions in front of me, but I would like to have the PHP thing ironed out prior to the install. Also, since it asks for the upload via FTP (for ASCII?), I'm wanting to know if I can upload from the local machine to the server, even though they are one and the same. I've come to believe that one cannot "drag and drop" this type of installation.
