I have upgraded to sambar 7.0 and it works fine if I run it from the icon on the desktop. when I install the service ntserver -i from dos and start sambar via this I am unable to FTP in any more. If I stop the service and use the desktop icon again it all works fine, does anyone have any ideas. Sambar 4.3 worked fine as a installed service

Make sure you unlocked serverd.exe on the firewall.
By the icon it starts server.exe, by the service it runs serverd.exe |

Actually is is ntserver.exe which has to be added into the firewall exception list  |
