User Maximum Disk Space seems to be limited to 1.66GB

Pro ver 7.1 (Oct 2007)
2 TB HDD on WinXP PRo
Created a user with all required privs, including read/write
set the max drive space to 100GB, actually 100000 MB's
All seems OK, check avail space in document manager within SAMBAR, it reports 100GB Maxspace and 0% used.

Begin a massive backup. and at about 1.65GB the client begins
to rebort errors, even though the reported space available is still
around 98.xxGB Free

But if you go to document manager within SAMBAR, it now reports 1.66GB Maxspace and 99% used.

The worst part, is delete and remove anything pertaining to this user, reboot the server, computer, recreate the user and you are still limited to 1.66GB..

anybody have any ideas
